Agenda: 2:00 — 3:30: Building Tour will leave from the Ross Lobby promptly at 2:00. Dr. Schuller
will be conducting the tour as one group
The tour of the new building will focus on several aspects. The program and building organization will
be explained with regard to patient and clinical functionality and adjacencies as well as special design
features and considerations. The patient experience and overall patient satisfaction was a high priority
for this project. The integration of research, education and clinical services is a very unique and
extremely significant aspect of this facility.
- See the clinical relationships and adjacencies that exist and which drove the programming and stacking of the building.
- See the transformational approach to providing comprehensive cancer research, education and treatment within a single facility.
- See the integration of the 2°d floor radiation oncology unit and natural light and outside views rather than typically having this located in the basement of a building.
