The Cultural and Legal Implications of BIM & IPD
Friday, March 18th, 2016
The construction industry is fragmented, adversarial and paranoid. It wastes resources at a phenomenal rate. A smart built culture that integrates teams, bolsters collaboration, and builds trust reduces that waste. Building information models (BIM) and integrated project delivery (IPD) support creation of interactive digital assets that serve as mortar in the founda-tion of the new smart built culture required to reduce such waste.
Join us for a presentation and workshop regarding the steps necessary to adopt, adapt to and deploy a smart built culture in Ohio. You will learn to identify pitfalls in our current culture, to define a smart built culture and why interactive digital assets are game changers in the built industry.
