Plaskolite is a leading manufacturer of innovative thermoplastic solutions whose headquarters is within Buggyworks development. During this tour, Architect Matt Toddy and Interior Designer Michael Linder of Design Collective will discuss how adaptive reuse and integrated technology--impacted the design of Plaskolite's headquarters. The design team will discuss the unique characteristics of the space, distinctive adaptive reuse features, and the development approach that took place within the mixed use complex in the Arena District. The Buggyworks complex is named for its history manufacturing carriages used in horse-and-buggy transportation circa 1902. The session will also address the use of recycled and re-purposed materials and the utilization of technology in design, construction and build out.
