Program Description
To meet the healthcare needs of one of Central Ohio's fast growing communities, Mount Carmel is bringing a new integrated medical campus to Grove City. Located near 1-71 and State Route 665, Mount Carmel Grove City will feature a full-service, 24-hour emergency department and a host of first-class medical services when it opens in late January. The presentation will be an overview on the planning and implementation for the new campus. Participants will have the opportunity to tour the first phase of the project just finishing up construction and ready for occupancy - the emergency department. The thoughtfully designed campus includes a women's health center, offering digital mammography and bone density testing in a quiet, comfortable environment just for women. Diagnostic imaging and lab services will be available for both emergency and outpatient needs. That includes MRI, CT scanning, and x-ray. Programming also includes a cafe and two community conference rooms for classes, meetings, events, and more. A medical office building will be added in the spring and will be home to primary care and specialty physician offices, along with outpatient services like physical therapy and cardiac rehabilitation.
